The village of Bridore, is only 2.5kms from the house.  There you can visit the local Chateau  and the Plan d'eau (lake) to enjoy a pleasant walk or a game of tennis or petanque.  In the village you will find the local Poste.

The Village of St Hippolyte is 2kms from the house.  Here there is the local Boulangerie, Hotel/restaurant - La Rennaisance, stade, local Doctor and Bureau de Poste

The village of Verneuil-sur-Indre is 3.5kms from the house.  With its pretty chateau, boulangerie and hotel.  There is also the superb 9 hole golf course of Verneuil, which is twinned with St Andrews in Scotland.
